Campaigns aren't cheap - lawn signs, door-to-door literature, advertising, and the materials our volunteers use to knock on thousands of doors all add up. Every dollar helps our team connect with more neighbours and get more of Ward 4 excited about positive change.

No. Contributions to municipal campaigns in Ontario aren't tax-deductible, and they can't be credited against your provincial or federal income taxes. The City of Oshawa does not offer a municipal donation rebate program.

If you give more than $100, the law requires your name and address to be listed in our public financial statement. Give $100 or less and you will not be listed by name.

$1,200 per person. You also have to be an Ontario resident - companies and unions can't donate. Anything over $25 has to be paid by cheque, debit, credit, or e-transfer, not cash.

Yes. Donations of goods or services count as contributions, and they fall under the same rules and limits as financial donations. If you'd like to contribute in-kind, reach out to donate@jackodonnell.ca and we'll make sure it's recorded properly.
